Egil Skallagrimsson Memorial Tournament 50

The Barony of Adiantum invites you to two full days of fighting, archery and thrown weapons (big and small), dozens of classes, geek sessions, and demos, merchants, and other activities. There will a variety of competitions, a a space for bardic performances/jams/whatever, a Norse trade blanket, a garb exchange, Little Free Library, Norse Stickball, Court, and a long weekend to hang out with your friends and meet new people.

In 2026 there will be two events: Pregils: Monday May 18 through Friday May 22. This will be an "open" event, with room to camp, take classes, geek, do workshops. See the Website for details and schedules. Egils: Friday May 22 through Monday May 25. The classic Egils, with additional contests, classes, scenarios to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Egils. You may pre-register for either or both events.

Site Opens for the General Populace at 12:00PM (Noon) on Friday, May 23rd and closes at 3:00PM May 26th.

Day-only fees must be paid at the Gate. There is no pre-registration for day fees. The Adult (18+) day fee is $30 with a discount of $10 for members. Minors (0-17) are free. During Pregils, electronic payment will NOT be available on site. Only cash and checks will accepted.

There is no fee for pets. Dogs, cats, and non-livestock birds only. All cats and dogs must show proof at gate that their rabies vaccination is current (a rabies tag, paperwork with the date of inoculation with a statement of how long it lasts, etc.)

Camping Information

Group land allotment will be tied primarily to attendee pre-registration numbers. Pre-registration received before close of day April 20 will be allocated land. Pregistrations received after April 20 will NOT receive land.

The first person to register with a camp name is the default 'Camp Master'. All other camp members can then select their desired camp name from the drop down during registration. If you intend to simply find space in Open Camping, please select "Open Camping" during registration.

Land allotment per person is the following:
Adult Pre-Registrations received by midnight March 31st receive 300 sq. ft. ea.
Adult Pre-Registrations received after midnight March 31st, before midnight April 20th receive 250 sq. ft. ea.
Youth and child Pre-Registrations will add an additional 100 sq. ft. ea.
NOTE THAT PRE-REGISTRATIONS RECEIVED AFTER APRIL 20TH WILL RECEIVE NO LAND ALLOCATION.

If you have a specific need for more land then what your groups allotment works out to be, or have any other land related questions, contact the Land Steward at itislandru@gmail.com and we will do our best to accommodate you. A final layout will be made in early May, and will be available at gate when you check in. Please note that youths and children MUST be pre-registered to receive land allocation.

If you need any accommodations or request, please include them in the Additional Comments section of your registration.

RV Reservations Information

RV reservations are available for mobility-impaired attendees. The number of spaces is limited, and will be allocated on a first-come basis. Please include the width and depth needed to accommodate your RV as well as any other details in the comments section of your registration.

RVs not associated with mobility-impaired attendees will be asked to park in the main Parking Lot.
